EXOTIC EXCURSIONS
by Brett Lane
 Imagine
yourself on an exotic vacation this spring and dress yourself accordingly.
Designers are creating “an interesting
marriage of unexpected warm and cool
tones,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director
of the Pantone Color Institute.
With the combination of complementary
colors as well as opposites on the color wheel,
this season’s palette will have a striking intensity.
Feel pretty in flirty Honeysuckle and give
yourself an instant pick-me-up in Coral Rose
and Beeswax. Pair with Regatta and add zest to
your current wardrobe.
Lavender is sensuous on its own, and is
memorable when paired with Beeswax or
Coral Rose.
Take your wardrobe to a tropical vacation
by incorporating tranquil Blue Curacao and
pair it with warm Honeysuckle or Coral Rose
or even Peapod, and pay homage to the new
year and new beginnings spring brings with it.
Looking for a neutral? Steer toward transseasonal
nudes like Silver Peony, Russet and
Silver Cloud that will coordinate with almost
everything in your closet.
Above all, have fun, experiment and
enjoy the season!
