After getting off to a roaring success in its first year, the second annual Mardis Gras Ball, benefiting children in foster and kinship care will take place February 28, 2009 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in downtown Atlanta. Beginning at 7pm, the event will feature a reception dinner, entertainment, tableau presenting king and queen, princesses and court, a silent auction and several previous Mardis Gras Carnival Kings and Queens all coming together for Atlanta's most exciting Mardis Gras Ball.

Proceeds raised will be used to enrich lives by providing aid to children in foster care, kinship care and to those who have aged out of care.
