2009 BEASTLY FEAST "KONGOMANA"

Once a year some beautifully dressed heavy hitters in Atlanta head for Zoo Atlanta. This year, they were there for "Kongomana," theme of the 2009 Beastly Feast, which offers a glance to walk and talk with the animals while raising money for the Zoo.

The weather cooperated and showers held off as partygoers danced and dined in a beautiful tent set up on the Zoo grounds. As they have been for the past 24 years, Ford Motor Company was the presenting sponsor, donating big bucks and showing off some sexy new models.

The week before, patrons were entertained at an elegant party at a private home in Buckhead. Guests happily traipsed about the manicured back lawn for champagne and hors d'oeuvres; the young ones having no trouble sinking into the grass since many wore the popular Gladiator sandals. Canapes were passed on serving trays made of tree bark and decorated with palm foods. This is a fun loving crowd!

The Class Act Band played for guests as they danced and mingled the night away.
